Paying for Blackjack Betting Systems

Blackjack betting systems are quite common since people use them in an effort to win more money with the game. The idea here is not to overcome the house edge (unless you’re card counting), but rather to vary bets in a fashion that will help you come out on top.

Since betting systems have become very popular in blackjack, many people have devised more complicated systems that they put up for sale. But knowing that you can’t actually overcome the house edge with a betting system, is it actually worth it to pay for a system? Let’s take a quick look at this matter to see.

Value of Betting Systems

You should know right away that in the large majority of cases, you won’t be any better off paying for a blackjack system versus using one of the free and famous ones like the Martingale. Now this isn’t to say that some of these people don’t put a lot of time into their systems, but you can’t reasonably expect to gain a long-term edge over casinos by buying a system.

What’s worse is when people have no intention of selling a quality product, but rather want to trick you into buying an overpriced product that they claim can turn you into a winner. In some cases, sellers will even attach a ridiculous price tag such as $1,000 to fool people into believing that the system is far more valuable than it really is. Case in point, if you see something like this, just ask yourself the age old question about why these people aren’t keeping the product for their own use if it’s so great.

Are Systems Ever Worth Buying?

As you can tell, we at BlackjackLife don’t really recommend that you buy betting systems. However, if you’re looking to add a little extra fun to the game and you find a blackjack system that’s cheap, it never hurts matters to look into things more. But before you invest a penny into the matter, try to find some non-biased information and reviews on the product to see what it’s all about. Furthermore, make sure that following this system isn’t going to cripple your blackjack bankroll.

And if you’re so serious about blackjack that you would buy a betting system, maybe you should think about taking card counting up. Even if you don’t become a professional, you could at least make a little money and have some fun in the process.
